Blythe Square Renovation

Half of this smaller square has been relocated since the original plans for the city were drawn. The renovated area, tucked between a church and several commercial buildings, represented a formerly neglected opportunity to provide a beautiful urban garden. A classically balanced design was created with broad paved walks, coastal palms and other greenery, and smooth lawns.
Signature Squares gratefully acknowledges the support of the City of Brunswick, First Methodist Church of Brunswick, Jekyll Island Authority, Jerry Spencer, ASLA, Landscape Architect and valued community volunteers in beautifying Blythe Square.
